Memphis Style Pulled Pork


Memphis is one of the four big BBQ districts of USA
Mostly famous for the Memphis style ribs, but even for Mephis style pulled pork.




2 tbs paprika powder
1 tbs salt
1 tbs onion powder
2 tsp freshly groun black pepper
1 1/2 tsp cayennepepper



  • 2 cups ketchup
    0,75 cups chopped onions
    1 cup red wine vinegar
    2 cloves garlick (minced)
    0,25 cups mustard
    0,75 cups Brown Sugar
    1/2 tsp real hot hot sauce (I use Blair´s Megadeath)



  • Prepare your smoker for low & slow and about 210-250f / 100-125 C
  • Use ypur favorite smooke wood. (Preferable Hickory)
  • Smoke until a innertemperature of 200 F / 95C
  • let rest i double layers of aluminium foil för about 1h
  • Prepare the finnishing sauce.
  • Rip the meat apart, and mix with the finishing sauce
