Moinks are really simple to make and tastes amazing.
They are called moink because the cow says moo (meatballs)
And the pig says oink (Bacon)

perfect as starters or sides

Börja med att göra köttbullar.

You need:

  • 500 gr ground beef
  • 0,25 cups breadcrumbs
  • 0,5 cup milk
  • 1.5 tsp salt
  • a pinch of ground black pepper
  • 1.5 krm kryddpeppar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbs grated onion.
  • bacon
  • Your favorite BBQ-rub
  • smokewood (I prefer apple for this recipe)

Instructions:

mix all ingredients with the ground meat

make meatballs en fry them

Let cool

Wrap each meatball in a piece of bacon

secure with a toothpick.

rub each ballprepare ypu grill/smoker for indirect heat and low% slow

Place the smoke wood on the glowing coals and bbq until the bacon has great color.
