Smoked chicken legs/drumsticks are the perfect munchies and a hit on your buffet! Very easy to do on your charcoal – or gasgrill.
Smoked chicken legs/drumsticks
- 20 chicken drumsticks
- 1 tsp gourmetsalt
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
For the glaze
- 1,5 dl orange marmalade
- 3/4 dl liquid honey
- 1 tsp coarse salt
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 2 handfuls of hickory chips (or your favourite kind) – soak before grilling
Mix all for the glaze in a pot, heat till everything mixes well. Keep warm.
Season the chicken.

Add the soaked smoke chips and grill indirectly on ca 100-130 grader for approx 20-30 min.
Mop with the glaze 3-4 times during grilling
These drumsticks are yummy both cold and warm.
